We have finally chosen a venue!  We are planning for the wedding ceremony and reception to be held at Selene Restaurant in Fira, Santorini.  You can check out their website at www.selene.gr. 

 

Formal invitations to those who responded Yes or Tentative to our Save the Date cards were sent out in with all the details (see also Invitation link above).

I tried to reserve a certain number of rooms at some of these hotels until May so that our guests would know that there are definitely rooms available, but I was not able to. I strongly recommend you contact the hotels or travel agent and make reservations since July is considered peak season in Santorini.

 

Another option for accommodation is to stay at pensions or rooms in peoples homes that are rented during tourist season. These accommodations can be made upon arrival to the island but I can not guarantee that you will find something at that time.  They are generally very nice, clean rooms with basic amenities that are a fraction of the cost of the hotel rooms.
